Love Laid Bare

Love often comes uninvited, unexpected,
But slowly, She's infected, affected,
Overwhelmed not by looks, charm or words,
But by acts of trust , kindness and love,
She soon realizes his intentions are pure,
And she falls for him all the more,
Her plans excluded love completely,
But now, she tries determining the possibility,
He, in turn, exerts no pressure,
But waits patiently for her answer,
He knows he can't wait long,
Coz' he must trudge ahead, move along,
For many there are, fishes in the sea,
And maybe they are not meant to be,
Yet part of him still longs for her,
And wants her to close, to be dear,
How is it that she cannot see it there,
His affection, his love laid bare,
All he can do now is hope for the best,
And let God do the rest.
